Since we got our kitten, Juju, our cat Lily refuses to come inside the house and she also seems to be eating less and losing weight. Though she's never been a large cat she seems to skinny to me.
The problems is that when i take her food outside, the possums get to it (especailly wet food) and she freaks out if she comes inside. She hasn't eaten any of the foods included in the recall and there are no sides of kidney problems. Not to mention that she's just plain stubborn.
Does anyone have any suggestions? I do know that I'm going to start feeding her in the morning and maybe that will cut back on Possum theivery.

Re: I need some suggestions....
Mon, April 30, 2007 - 4:29 PMSorry to hear that Carol - it's always a difficult transition when new cats are involved and I wish you the best. The only thing I can suggest is maybe just getting her in the house with just you and trying to regain some of that trust. She may be over it, and you may be able to work things out, I hope that is the case. Talk to her and tell her you still love her and she is still very much a part of the family, maybe she will start to come around. I'm sorry that I could not give more advice. Good luck. -
