Pig fuckers!

I am taking all three to the vet today for blood tests. Poor pussies.

Not only do Natural Balance have terrible QC and storage of wetfood - but now their dry food is recalled.

I wonder if I can get them to pay my vet bills?
No my cats aren't vomiting but by the time they might be it is too late, so I'm not waiting to find out if they're gonna die.

      Sorry for my obscenity (but man that was so scary - I was literally shaking with anger and sadness simultaneously, it took me about 3 hours to calm down).

      All pussies were tested and everyone is ok.
      The good news is that they all needed their bi-annual shots anyway, and that we found a rather decent vet just around the corner who knew her shit and gave one. (sorry more french) so yay for that.

      I heard from Mud Bay Granary that the sick cat cases were limited to Texas and CA but lets hope it doesn't grow.

      Melamine again.

      I think it doesn't matter if a catfood makes it's own - it matters if they really care to check out all their suppliers.

      So, now everyone is eating Innova-Evo grain free dry at night instead of Ven and grn pea, and their happy.

      anyone know good organic meat suppliers local to seattle that sell fresh whole ground carcass?

        i think there is a woman north of seattle that breeds bunnies just for that purpose.. not for certain though...

        i think we are headed to raw by the end of the month so ill let you know what i find out

        (need to call wellness, i know they changed their formula and this last bag has made two of my three sick, i dont think its recall related, but im still concerned)

          omg - you should get it checked out soon.

          I think anything with corn or rice gluten or rice protein is affected and contains melanine.

          I'm off to the store to buy a ridiculous amount of innvova evo grain free wet food, and kiwi peak and addiction.
          The cats absolutely adore the innvoa gf wet food - even fussy fuzzy fafnir. :)

          Let us know what's happening to your cats.
          Some of the main symptoms of melamine poisoning are vomiting and listlessness.
          I will be thinking of you and everyone else with sick pussies all w/e.

            nah, they definatley arent listless....

            pru had two rounds of "oh dear god explosive poo" - it would have been fine if they were in the cat bix, but alas, no.....

            rhind puked up some water and undigested food...

            btw, they were on canned wellness, but with the first recall we stopped until we were sure the canned was ok.

                it is grain free ms p, but when the recall first hit there wasnt much clarity what was going on.... better safe than sorry no??
